Filly First Winner for Line of David

After hitting the gate at the start, Rimsky was soon in command and romped to a five-length win in the fifth race at Gulfstream Park Sept. 19 to become the first winner for grade I winner Line of David  
 
Line of David won the 2010 Arkansas Derby (gr. I) among three wins from seven careers starts and bankrolled $662,000. The 7-year-old son of Lion Heart—Emma's Dilemma, by Capote stands near Lexington at B. Wayne Hughes' Spendthrift Farm, where he commanded a $6,000 fee in 2014. He has 49 2-year-olds in his first crop. 
 
Lion of Judah Racing Stables's Rimsky covered the one-mile claiming race in 1:40.82 under Amy Fontanez, who was riding for trainer Howard Mills. The bay filly was bred in Kentucky by Doug Branham from the Value Plus mare Value Vetted.
