The connections of Coaching Club American Oaks (G1) contender Chocolate Martini have announced the launch of a new racing syndicate, Nine Thirty Racing. Chocolate Martini, owned by Double Doors Racing and Nine Thirty Racing, will debut the Nine Thirty silks when she runs in the July 22 Coaching Club at Saratoga Race Course with Irad Ortiz Jr. in the irons. Double Doors members Amanda DaBruzzo and David Walker will manage the new syndicate.

"David and I started Nine Thirty Racing to introduce our family, friends, and colleagues to this great sport," DaBruzzo said. "We enjoy nothing more than sharing the anticipation of saddling in the paddock and the joy of the winner's circle with those who have spent a day or weekend with us at the racetrack. Nine Thirty Racing was inspired by these friends, many of whom are developing a love for these magnificent animals and who wanted to share the ownership experience with us."

Nine Thirty Racing manages three other horses: Shareholder Value, All About Ashley, and Hogans Holiday. All About Ashley and Hogans Holiday are pointing toward races during Saratoga's second weekend. Tom Amoss will condition all horses in the Nine Thirty Racing stable and will claim and source horses for private purchase for the syndicate.

"Since joining Tom and his team in October 2016, we've had a lot of fun and success at the track," Walker said. "We hope to keep our roll going this fall and into next year with Nine Thirty Racing. We plan to celebrate each success and are looking forward to making new memories with our co-owners."

Double Doors Racing and Nine Thirty Racing will continue their relationship with the Retired Racehorse Project, which launched during Chocolate Martini's Longines Kentucky Oaks (G1) campaign, by donating 1% of all purse earnings through 2019 to RRP in support of Thoroughbred aftercare.
