Description:

Rockville Centre Stakes winner Bustin It heads a field of nine for the $252,098 New York Breeders' Futurity Oct. 4 at Finger Lakes, the even-money choice on the morning line along with entrymate Thank You from the barn of trainer Michael Mareina.

Owned in part by Mareina, SJB Stable, and Kuehne Racing, the 2-year-old son of Bustin Stones   has the Rockville win and two seconds in his three career starts. His latest runner-up finish came Aug. 24 by a length to Upstart after setting the pace in the 6 1/2-furlong Funny Cide Stakes at Saratoga Race Course. He won the July 13 Rockville going six furlongs on the Belmont Park dirt in wire-to-wire fashion by seven lengths.

Thank You, by Congrats, has yet to break his maiden in four attempts but last time out was runner-up by two lengths in a six-furlong maiden special weight at Belmont. He also races for Mareina and Kuehne Racing, with Nathan Mitts.

Jaime Rodriguez has the call on both, with Bustin It slated to leave the rail and Thank You drawn in post 5.

There are two fillies in the lineup for the six-furlong Breeders' Futurity, with Gary Contessa trainee Dunn Listening the 4-1 second choice on the morning line overall. She won the Sept. 6 Lady Finger Stakes at Finger Lakes with a good closing move in her second start for her first victory. She drew the 4 hole and will be ridden by Angel Arroyo.

Longshot Smilingsundae is the other lass in the group; both get a weight break and will carry 119 pounds while all others are assigned 122.

Good Luck Gus and Smilingsundae get blinkers on.
