Orb Breezes Five Furlongs at Fair Hill

Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Orb registered a second straight five-furlong breeze in 1:01 Monday, Sept. 23 at Fair Hill Training Center in Elkton, Md.
The move followed a five-furlong breeze in the same time Sept. 14 at Fair Hill as the 3-year-old Malibu Moon colt prepares for a start in the Jockey Club Gold Cup Invitational Stakes (gr. I) Sept. 28 at Belmont Park. As of 11:30 a.m. EDT Monday, the breeze was the only work at the distance reported at Fair Hill.
Since the Derby, Stuart Janney III and Phipps Stable's Orb has finished fourth in the Preakness Stakes (gr. I) and third in both the Belmont (gr. I) and Travers (gr. I) stakes.
