Justify was officially retired from racing on July 25, weeks after becoming the 13th U.S. Triple Crown winner with a victory in the Belmont Stakes. He launched his career in February and became the first Kentucky Derby winner since 1882 to go unraced as a 2-year-old. He joined Seattle Slew as the only undefeated Triple Crown winners.
