A sloppy, sealed track did not deter Bradshaw from breaking his maiden and becoming the first winner for his sire Sept. 3 at Gulfstream Park.
In his fifth start for owner Paul Hollander and trainer Rory Miller, the Csaba colt put it all together and drew off to a 4 1/4-length frontrunning score in a six-furlong test for maiden 2-year-olds in for a $25,000 tag. With Jose Batista in the irons, Bradshaw completed the distance in 1:12.09, and headed to a new home after his victory. Owner Robert Murray and trainer Bobby Dibona made the claim.
Bradshaw was bred in Florida by Bruce Hollander out of the winning, stakes-placed War Chant mare No Fair.
Csaba, a multiple graded stakes-winning son of Kitten's Joy campaigned by Bruce Hollander and Cary Shapoff, stands in Indiana at R Star Stallions, where his 2018 fee was $2,000.
