The Cocktail: Bourbon Basil Cooler
The Reason: Back to school and back to basil.
The ingredients:
2 parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
1 part cucumber habanero simple syrup
1 part squeezed lime juice
Pinch of salt
Several sprigs of basil and a lime wheel
How to Make It:
Place the ingredients into a blender, blending on high until you reach a puree status
Pour over crushed ice, top off with a lime wheel, add a straw, and enjoy!
