Multiple graded stakes winner Frank Conversation  will stand at Rockridge Stud near Hudson, N.Y., beginning in 2019, the farm announced Sept. 10. The 5-year-old son of Quality Road  is in Lexington and will be available for inspection throughout the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

"Quality Road is on fire right now, and we think Frank Conversation provides a great opportunity to breed to that sire line (in New York)," said Rockridge owner and director Lere Visagie. "We are syndicating the horse and will also offer lifetime breeding rights as options to breeders."

Campaigned by Reddam Racing and trained by Doug O'Neill, Frank Conversation broke his maiden in his second start as a 2-year-old at Santa Anita Park, and after ending the season with an off-the-board effort in the Los Alamitos Futurity (G1), he returned in his 3-year-old debut to win the California Derby. He followed that with a score in the El Camino Real Derby (G3). Both victories came on the all-weather track at Golden Gate Fields.

He also captured the Twilight Derby (G2T) on the turf at Santa Anita and finished third in the Hollywood Derby (G1T) that year. He retired with a record of 4-2-4 from 19 starts and earnings of $520,965.

Bred in Kentucky by Marc Keller, Frank Conversation is out of the Unusual Heat mare Rushen Heat, a full sister to grade 1-winning millionaire Unusual Suspect and grade 1 winner Golden Doc A. Dennis O'Neill signed the ticket for Frank Conversation when he sold for $120,000 from Wavertree Stables' consignment to the 2015 Ocala Breeders' Sales March Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training.

No decision on a stud fee has been announced.
