Sea of Class, brilliant 2018 Darley Irish Oaks (G1) and Darley Yorkshire Oaks (G1) winner and the general 7-2 second favorite for the Oct. 7 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) at ParisLongchamp, has been supplemented for the showpiece contest after the most recent entry stage Oct. 3.
The William Haggas-trained filly hasn't been beaten since she finished second on her debut in April, winning two listed contests at Newbury before narrowly defeating Investec Oaks (G1) winner Forever Together in the Irish version at the Curragh.
She then made it two group 1 wins, gliding past Coronet to take the Yorkshire Oaks, after which her trainer said Longchamp was likely to be her end-of-season aim.
Sea of Class is bred for Arc success given that her sire, Sea The Stars, memorably won the Arc at the end of a glittering campaign in 2009, with his dam, Urban Sea, winning the race in 1993.
There were no other supplementary entries for the race, with Enable, Waldgeist, Kew Gardens, and Cracksman among the 20 still engaged.
