Fans can get behind NBC Sports horse racing handicapper and analyst Eddie Olczyk by signing up for the "Win With Eddie O" Sweepstakes and rooting for Eddie to win the 2018 Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC), Thoroughbred racing's biggest live-money handicapping tournament.
If Eddie O wins the 2018 BCBC, one lucky sweepstakes entrant will also win $1 million and Breeders' Cup Charities will award another $1 million to charity.
The BCBC will take place Nov. 2-3 at Churchill Downs, online and at select simulcast locations across North America.
Olczyk, former NHL right wing and current NHL on NBC analyst, won the 2018 Pegasus World Cup Betting Championship and will receive a $1 million bonus of his own if he can take down the 2018 BCBC.
Fans can enter the "Win With Eddie O" sweepstakes now at BreedersCup.com/EddieO and can gain additional entries (up to 100) for each person who signs up using their unique referral link or through a social media post from the sweepstakes platform.
Should Olczyk win the BCBC, Breeders' Cup will not only award a lucky fan $1 million, but will also donate a combined $1 million to two charities: Eddie's designated charity, the Robert H. Lurie Center, and the Thoroughbred Charities of America (TAA).
"The combination of winning the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge and giving a racing fan a million dollar jackpot is the dream of a lifetime," said Olczyk. "It's a great challenge and I hope to make one racing fan a lot of money in the BCBC and thank the Breeders' Cup for their charitable pledges to worthy causes."
"We look forward to fans getting behind Eddie's attempt to win the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge and the $1 million bonus by signing up for the Win With Eddie O sweepstakes," said Craig Fravel, Breeders' Cup President and CEO. "Eddie's grace and courage during his recent battle with cancer has been remarkable and an inspiration to all of us. We wish him the best of luck in the BCBC."
As the BCBC draws closer, the Win with Eddie O Sweepstakes will keep fans updated with Eddie's preparation and progress during the BCBC on BreedersCup.com/EddieO.
