Description:

Taris, runaway winner of the Oct. 18 Lexus Raven Run Stakes (gr. II) at Keeneland, has been supplemented to the Fasig-Tipton November sale on Nov. 3 near Lexington, where she will be offered by Darby Dan Sales.

Taris is fresh off her nine-length romp in the $250,000 Raven Run for trainer Todd Beattie and Commonwealth New Era Racing.

"Taris showed in the Raven Run just how special of a filly she is... and she's the product of a rich Claiborne female family that includes War Front," said Carl McEntee, Darby Dan sales and bloodstock director. "She's the total package and one of the most unique turn-key opportunities you'll see being offered this fall."

Four-for-four around one turn, Taris began her career last December as a 2-year-old with an impressive 11 3/4-length debut maiden special weight win at Aqueduct Racetrack . She then won the Jan. 25 Wide Country Stakes at Laurel Park by 5 1/2 lengths. Although fifth in the Honeybee Stakes (gr. III) at Oaklawn Park in March, she returned well-rested and cut back in distance to score a 7 3/4-length romp in a Presque Isle Downs allowance last month where she zipped six furlongs in 1:08.39. Her average margin of victory is 8 1/2 lengths.

Taris has earned $275,700 to date with her near-perfect record of four wins from five starts. By one of A.P. Indy's top sons, Flatter  , she hails from the Theatrical (Ire) mare Comedy, and her second dam is the graded stakes-winning Lord At War mare Don't Be Silly. Bred by Claiborne Farm and Adele Dilschneider, her family goes back to leading sire War Front.

Taris will be available for inspection next weekend on the Fasig-Tipton sales grounds at Barn 8.
