

Gainesway announced its full roster of 2019 stud fees Oct. 11, with 2017 Belmont Stakes presented by NYRABets (G1) winner Tapwrit getting off to a start at a fee of $12,500, stands and nurses.
The 4-year-old son of Gainesway sire Tapit is out of the grade 1-winning mare Appealing Zophie (by Successful Appeal). Tapwrit is a half brother to Del Mar Derby (G2T) winner Ride a Comet, who is still in training.
Gainesway previously released three-time leading sire Tapit's fee at a reduced $225,000 Thursday.
Tapwrit will join a roster of eight others at the Lexington, Ky., farm, which includes Empire Maker , grandsire of Triple Crown winner American Pharoah .
The 18-year-old son of Unbridled will remain at a fee of $85,000, stands and nurses, for the third year in a row. Empire Maker's first North American-bred yearlings since his return from Japan, where he stood from 2010-15, were offered at public auction this year.
