Registration has opened for the Breeders' Cup Classic Million Dollar Finish fantasy game, which offers players the chance to win $1 million for selecting the top 10 finishers in order in the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I).

The Breeders' Cup Classic, North America's richest race with a $5 million purse, will be shown live in prime time from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. EDT on NBC Nov. 1.

Fans can register at MillionDollarFinish.com and enter their selections starting Monday, Oct. 27 following the Breeders' Cup Classic post-position draw (approximately 9:00 p.m. EDT). Players can register for the game online and submit their picks right up until post time for the Classic at 8:40 p.m. ET Saturday, Nov. 1. No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and it is free to play. Official game rules can be found here.

Players will also be eligible to win additional prizes, including cash and merchandise, based on fantasy points earned by the number of correct finishing placements.

Joe Scialabba of Huntingdon, Pa., the regular season winner of the Million Dollar Finish, will be making his top 10 selections for the Classic live on the Friday NBCSN telecast of the first day of the Breeders' Cup for his chance to win the $1 million along with viewers across the country. Scialabba, a fund-raiser and alumni development administrator for Juniata College, racked up 1,620 points from correct picks in 11 races at America's top tracks during the Breeders' Cup Challenge season to earn the Million Dollar Finish regular season title.

"It will be a blast to be involved in something as exciting as the Breeders' Cup," said Scialabba.  "I enjoy the challenge of horse racing, but it would be a tremendous accomplishment to get that many horses correct in order and take home a million dollars. My 50th birthday is Nov. 7, so this is turning into an unexpected early gift for me. I'm looking forward to a great time."

Commenting on the top contenders for the Classic, Scialabba added, "I was big on California Chrome early in his Triple Crown run and I know he loves Santa Anita, but Shared Belief (last year's 2-year-old champion and this year's Pacific Classic winner) is the real deal."

"Million Dollar Finish gives fans a free chance to play along at home while watching live on NBC in primetime," said Justin McDonald, vice president of marketing and digital media for the Breeders' Cup. "It's easy to play and with $1 million up for grabs, it's a great way to engage casual fans during our biggest race of the year."
