Sistercharlie Edges Wild Illusion Late in F&M Turf

Owner Peter Brant completed a successful return to racing when his Sistercharlie rallied in deep stretch to win the $2 million Maker's Mark Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1T) Nov. 3 at Churchill Downs.
Sistercharlie's late run saw her pass her front-running Chad Brown stablemate A Raving Beauty and 5-2 favorite Wild Illusion to prevail by about a neck, completing the 1 3/8 miles in 2:20.96.
It's the third straight grade 1 win for Sistercharlie and fourth this season for the daughter of Myboycharlie.
