Mill Ridge Farm—along with longtime friends and clients Ann and Jerry Moss and racing manager Dottie Ingordo-Sherriffs—said goodbye to Set Them Free Oct. 30.

The multiple stakes winner by Stop the Music, out of the Tyrant mare Valseuse, was the dam of 2005 Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Giacomo and of grade 1 winner Tiago.

She produced her final foal in 2014. In March of 2001 she was pregnant with Giacomo, by Holy Bull, shortly before mare reproductive loss syndrome was discovered in the weeks surrounding that year's Derby. Giacomo became the first Kentucky Derby winner foaled and raised by Mill Ridge Farm.
