Bucchero , the grade 2-winning son of Kantharos , will enter stud at Pleasant Acres Stallions near Ocala, Fla., next year but is being made available for inspection to breeders in Kentucky Nov. 11.

The stallion will be shown from 3-5 p.m. ET at Kesmarc, which is about five minutes from Keeneland along Shannon Run Road near Versailles, Ky.

Bred in Indiana by Southern Chase Farm and Karen Dodd, Bucchero is out of the General Meeting daughter Meetmeontime, who is the dam of four other winners.

Bucchero won 11 times out of 31 starts, including back-to-back victories in the Brickyard Stakes and Woodford Stakes Presented by Keeneland Select (G2T) in 2017, the latter of which he won again in 2018. He has seven black-type victories from 5 1/2 furlongs to 8 1/2 furlongs and is the leading Indiana-bred by earnings with $947,936.

The 6-year-old is a close relative of World of Trouble, also by Kantharos and out of a Valid Expectations half sister to Bucchero. World of Trouble earned a 118 Equibase Speed Figure when he finished a neck behind Stormy Liberal in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T) at Churchill Downs.

The stallion show is open to the public, and those in attendance will be entered into a drawing to win a free season to Bucchero for 2019.  His stud fee will be $5,000.
