No Nay Never to Coolmore After BC Turf Sprint

No Nay Never, a course record setter at Royal Ascot as a juvenile last year, will be retired after his scheduled start in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (gr. IT) Nov. 1 at Santa Anita Park and will stand in 2015 at Coolmore Stud in Ireland.
The 3-year-old son of Scat Daddy —Cat's Eye Witness, by Elusive Quality , was unbeaten in three starts as a juvenile last season for trainer Wesley Ward, winning first time out at Keeneland. He subsequently broke the course record for a juvenile going five furlongs in the Norfolk Stakes (Eng-II) at Royal Ascot, and then captured the six-furlong Prix Morny (Fr-I) at Deauville.
On his most recent outing Oct. 4, No Nay Never defeated older sprinters in the Woodford Stakes Presented by Keeeneland Select (gr. IIIT). He is 9-2 on the morning line for the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint.
Overall, No Nay Never posted a 4-1-0 career line from five starts and earned $ 497,999.
"Wesley Ward has trained some very fast horses over the years, but he is in no doubt that No Nay Never is the most talented," said Coolmore's director of sales David O'Loughlin. "He's a very strongly made individual who dwarfed his rivals in the parade ring at Royal Ascot. We can see him proving very popular with breeders here."
Kentucky-bred No Nay Never is one of two winners from as many starters out of Cat's Eye Witness, a winning half sister to grade III winner Cat's Career. He hails from the family of English highweight and group winner Half a Year and grade II winner Winning Pact.
