Multiple group 2 winner Daddy Long Legs  has been purchased by Taylor Made Stallions, Phoenix Thoroughbreds, and KatieRich Farms and will stand the upcoming breeding season at Taylor Made for an advertised fee of $10,000 after relocating from Haras Cordillera in Chile.

The 9-year-old son of Scat Daddy was campaigned by the Coolmore partners of Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith, and Susan Magnier and originally trained by Aidan O'Brien. Daddy Long Legs won his debut at 2 before capturing the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes (G2) by 3 1/4 lengths at Newmarket. He ended his juvenile campaign with a 12th-place run in the 2011 Grey Goose Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) but scored a victory in his sophomore debut, the U.A.E. Derby Sponsored by The Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group (G2).

The victory in Dubai earned Daddy Long Longs a berth in the 2012 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1), where he was eased in the field of 20 after rating fourth in the early going. Daddy Long Legs retired with three wins from 16 starts and $1,348,231 in earnings.

"We are very excited to have a grade 1-producing son of Scat Daddy who himself won a group 2 as a 2-year-old at Newmarket for Coolmore," said Duncan Taylor of Taylor Made Farm. "To have a son of Scat Daddy … makes it that much more special."

Produced from the multiple stakes-winning Meadowlake mare Dreamy Maiden, Daddy Long Legs was bred in Kentucky by Woodford Thoroughbreds.
