Nov. 1 Racing at Meadowlands Canceled

The final day of Thoroughbred racing in 2014 in New Jersey has been rained out with the cancellation at the Monmouth-at-Meadowlands Nov. 1 card.
Heavy rains swept through the Garden State Friday night and into Saturday morning, leading to the cancellation of the six-race program scheduled for the turf.
Saturday afternoon's card was the last Thoroughbred program scheduled in 2014. Live Thoroughbred racing will resume in New Jersey next spring.
