Description:

Lane's End Racing and Dell Ridge Farm's Honor Code will make his first start since March in a 6 1/2-furlong allowance Nov. 22 at Aqueduct Racetrack, returning from the injury that knocked him off the road to the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).

The 3-year-old son of A.P. Indy won the Remsen Stakes (gr. II) after a tight runner-up finish in the Foxwoods Champagne Stakes (gr. I) in his juvenile year, but was sidelined with a slight tear of his right hind upper suspensory. The injury was detected a short while after his only race of 2014, a 1 1/16-mile allowance race at Gulfstream Park March 12 in which he finished second, 10 lengths behind Social Inclusion.

His 2014 debut was delayed due to bruising of his hind ankles in February.

Honor Code drew post 8 of 11 in the $69,000 event, an optional claimer for 3-year-olds and up that will go as race 6 with an approximate post time of 2:45 p.m. EST. He will be ridden by Javier Castellano for Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey. Castellano has been in the irons for all but the first of Honor Code's four starts.

Bred in Kentucky by Dell Ridge, Honor Code is out of the stakes-winning Storm Cat mare Serena's Cat.
