Shuttle stallions California Chrome and Daddy Long Legs have returned to Taylor Made Stallions, where they will be available for inspection by breeders during an open house Dec. 18-19 from 1-4 p.m. each day. Breeders in attendance can see all the farm's stallions for the upcoming breeding season.
Kentucky breeders will be getting their first look at multiple group 2-winning millionaire Daddy Long Legs, who entered stud at Haras Cordillera before standing for one season in Florida. The son of Scat Daddy also stood in Chile for the 2017 and 2018 seasons, where he's followed in the steps of his sire by earning the title of leading freshman sire. His first crop includes group 1 winner Fallen From Heaven in his initial crop.
The 2019 Taylor Made roster is headed by two-time Horse of the Year California Chrome, who recently returned to the U.S. from Haras Sumaya Stud in Chile, where he stood the Southern Hemisphere breeding season. A seven-time grade 1 winner, California Chrome will have first-crop yearlings in the coming year. He covered 278 mares in his first two seasons at stud and saw multiple first weanlings sell for six-figure prices this year.
