Winter Weather Forces Laurel Park Cancellation

Severe winter weather conditions forced the Maryland Jockey Club to cancel its live eight-race program Jan. 13 at Laurel Park.
Snow began falling late Saturday afternoon and continued overnight, and a winter storm warning remained in effect through 6 p.m. ET Sunday, with total accumulations of 6-10 inches expected.
Both Laurel and Pimlico Race Course will remain open for simulcasting.
Live racing returns to Laurel Jan. 18 with a 12:30 p.m. post time. There will be a special Martin Luther King Jr. holiday program Jan. 21.
