Taylor Made Stallions' Midnight Storm , a grade 1-winning millionaire by Pioneerof the Nile , sired his first reported foal the evening of Jan. 13.

Bred by Bob Liewald, the filly is out of the Street Boss mare Like a Hurricane, an allowance winner who won on debut as a 2-year-old at Churchill Downs.

"This is a really nice foal and she looks a lot like Midnight Storm," said Travis White, stallion nominations manager at Taylor Made. "We are very excited for her owner, Bob Liewald, who was actually a part of the Little Red Feather syndicate group that raced Midnight Storm along with Alex Venneri.

"With the success of Pioneerof the Nile and the great start of Cairo Prince 's first crop, we are very bullish on this sire line right now," White added, "and with Triple Crown winner American Pharoah 's first crop of 2-year-olds gearing up for the racetrack, we couldn't be more excited about Midnight Storm's future."

Campaigned by A Venneri Racing and Little Red Feather Racing, Midnight Storm was a speedy and versatile miler who won seven graded stakes on both dirt and turf—six of those wins coming in grade 1 or grade 2 races—including a victory in the Shoemaker Mile (G1), where he defeated eventual Breeders' Cup Mile (G1) winner Tourist , and a wire-to-wire win over subsequent Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) winner Accelerate  in the San Pasqual Stakes (G2). Midnight Storm banked $1,783,110 with a record of 10-5-2 from 27 starts.

He covered 119 mares in his first book and stands his second season at stud for $10,000, stands and nurses.
