Williamson Racing and Ballena Vista Farm's grade 2 winner Texas Ryano  had his first reported foal arrive Jan. 10 at Ballena Vista Farm near Ramona, Calif.

Bred by Ballena Vista Farm, the filly is out of the stakes-producing Yes It's True winner Kantstopdancin and is a half sister to Mr. Paytience (by Paynter ), who broke his maiden at first asking by 7 3/4 lengths at Santa Anita Park and was third in the black-type Everett Nevin Stakes in his next start. Kantstopdancin is a half sister to grade/group 2 winners Striking Dancer (Smart Strike) and Raymond Tusk (High Chaparral).

Texas Ryano, an 8-year-old son of Curlin , won his debut at 3 at Santa Anita and captured his first stakes in the King Pellinore Stakes. He would go on to win the Hollywood Turf Cup Stakes (G2T) for owner Warren B. Williamson and place in the John Henry Turf Championship Stakes (G2T) and Del Mar Handicap Presented by The Japan Racing Association (G2T).

The stallion is out of grade 3 winner Blending Element (IRE), who is the dam of graded winner Tiz Elemental (Cee's Tizzy), grade 2-placed winners American Blend (Quiet American) and War Element (War Chant), and three other black-type winners .

Texas Ryano stands at Ballena Vista for $3,500 live foal.
