There are many therapies for military veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but none is entirely effective. The Man O’ War Project hopes to change that.
The Man O’ War Project at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is a first-of-its-kind clinical research study evaluating the effectiveness of equine-assisted therapy at treating PTSD in veterans. The project will establish a treatment protocol which will be shared with others who use equine-assisted therapy to help veterans.
