After a rainy night and with significant precipitation expected to continue through the day Jan. 26, the Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) undercard has taken a significant hit.

The first, third, and fifth races at Gulfstream Park Saturday have been taken off the turf. No official scratches have been posted online, but Gulfstream track announcer Pete Aiello and simulcast host Jason Blewitt have put out scratches on social media.

Rockingham Ranch and David Bernsen's 2018 champion turf male Stormy Liberal will not run in the off-the-turf Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint Stakes (race 3), according to Rockingham racing manager Brian Trump. Oak Bluffs and Pay Any Price have also been withdrawn from the five-furlong sprint.

Trump also said Rockingham's stakes winner Surrender Now will not run in the off-the-turf Ladies' Turf Sprint Stakes (race 5). Miz Mayhem, Painting Corners, Morticia, and Blue Bahia have also been withdrawn from the Ladies Turf Sprint.

Other stakes scratches include Capla Temptress and Peach of a Gal from the South Beach, Coal Front and Eye of a Jedi from the Fred W. Hooper (G3), and Highland Sky, Markitoff, and Postulation from the W. L. McKnight (G3T).
