Two-time New York Horse of the Year, Mind Your Biscuits, arrived safely at Shadai Stallion Station Jan. 27 in Japan. The 6-year-old son of Posse will begin stud duty for the 2019 breeding season this spring.

Bred in New York by Jumping Jack Racing out of the Toccet mare Jazzmane, Mind Your Biscuits was sold in 2104 as a short yearling to Machmer Hall for $47,000 at the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale. Initially trained by Robert N. Falcone Jr., the chestnut powerhouse earned his first grade 1 score in the 2016 Malibu Stakes (G1) at 3.

Transferred to the barn of Chad Summers prior to his 4-year-old season in 2017, Mind Your Biscuits dominated in the Dubai Golden Shaheen Sponsored by Gulf News (G1) at Meydan Racecourse and Belmont Sprint Championship Stakes (G2) at Belmont Park. He eventually caught the eye of Shadai Farm's Teruya Yoshida,  who officially purchased an interest in the horse after he finished second in Cigar Mile Handicap Presented by NYRA Bets (G1) to close out 2017.

In 2018, Mind Your Biscuits achieved a second score in the March 31 Golden Shaheen, breaking the track record for six furlongs on the dirt course. He took the Sept. 29 Lukas Classic (G3) at Churchill Downs going 1 1/8-mile carrying Yoshida's silks.

Mind Your Biscuits' fee for the 2019 breeding season is set at ¥2 million (US$18,125). The stallion parade at Shadai is scheduled for Feb. 5.
