Twinspires.com Louisiana Derby (G2) winner By My Standards and El Camino Real Derby winner Anothertwistafate both worked April 4, one month out from the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1).

Settling in at Churchill Downs in his first move since taking the March 23 Louisiana Derby at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots off his Feb. 16 maiden win, Allied Racing Stable's By My Standards went four furlongs in :48 2/5 with jockey Gabriel Saez in the irons. The son of Goldencents  ranks second on the Kentucky Derby leaderboard with 100 points for trainer Bret Calhoun.

"I think it was good to get this breeze in while things are still quiet back here," Calhoun said. "Four weeks to go. Let's get it done."

"He's just a naturally talented colt," Saez said. "I just have to keep my fingers crossed for the next four weeks, but I'm very confident he can take us there. He is naturally gifted. In the work this morning, he did everything so effortlessly. He's one of the smartest horses I've ever been on."

Across the country, Peter Redekop B.C.'s Anothertwistafate got back to work at Sunland Park with a sharp half-mile move in :46 4/5, fastest of seven at the distance. It was the Blaine Wright-trained colt's first breeze off his runner-up finish—a neck behind Cutting Humor—in the March 24 Sunland Park Derby (G3). Remaining at Sunland while Wright's main barn at Golden Gate Fields is under quarantine after one of his horses tested positive for equine herpesvirus-1 neurotrophic strain (EHV-1N), Anothertwistafate ranks 16th on the Kentucky Derby leaderboard with 30 points.

Also back on the work tab was ADR Racing Stable's Jeltrin. The 51-1 upset winner of the March 2 Davona Dale Stakes (G2) went five furlongs in 1:02.49 at Gulfstream Park for trainer Alexis Delgado. Jeltrin ranks seventh on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks with 51 points.
