Penn, Aqueduct Cancel Jan. 14 Live Racing

Live racing at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course has been cancelled for Wednesday, Jan. 14 due to winter weather conditions.
Afternoon and evening simulcast wagering will continue to be available at the Grantville, Pa., track, which is scheduled to resume live racing Jan. 15, with a 6 p.m. EST first race post.
New York's Aqueduct Racetrack also cancelled live racing Jan. 14 "due to continued frigid temperatures and out of a continued abundance of caution for the safety of our jockeys and our equine athletes," according to a release.
Aqueduct and the Belmont Cafe at Belmont Park will remain open for simulcasting, with live racing scheduled to resume at Aqueduct on Thursday, Jan. 15, with a first post of 12:25 p.m. EST.
