The field for the $700,000 Man o'War Stakes (G1T) may get some international flavor as Magic Wand and Hunting Horn are both expected to return to the United States and race in the 1 3/8-mile turf stakes May 11 at Belmont Park.

The two Ballydoyle 4-year-olds, trained by Aidan O'Brien and owned by Michael Tabor, Mrs. John Magnier, and Derrick Smith, are expected to arrive in New York May 6 and will be placed in quarantine for between 36-42 hours, according to New York Racing Association officials.

Both hopefuls raced at Gulfstream Park Jan. 26 on the Pegasus World Cup card.

In her first start of 2019, Magic Wand was second to Bricks and Mortar by 2 1/2 lengths in the Jan. 6 Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (G1T) at Gulfstream. The daughter of Galileo was fifth most recently in the March 30 Dubai Sheema Classic Sponsored by Longines (G1) March 30 at Meydan. She was fourth last year in the Maker's Mark Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf (G1T) Nov. 3 at Churchill Downs.

Hunting Horn, a son of Camelot, was third in the W. L. McKnight Stakes (G3T) on the Pegasus card. The group 3 winner was then third in the H.H. The Emir's Trophy Presented by Longines (G1) at Doha Feb. 23 and fourth in the Dubai Sheema.

As of May 5, the other probable starters for the Man o'War include Admission Office, Call Provision, Channel Maker, Focus Group, Highland Sky and Zulu Alpha, with Arklow a possible starter.

The May 11 card features three other graded stakes, including the $300,000 Peter Pan Stakes (G3) for 3-year-olds, a stepping stone prep for the final leg of the Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets (G1) June 8.

Final Jeopardy, Global Campaign, Intrepid Heart, Joevia and Sir Winston are the probable starters in the one-turn, 1 1/8-mile stakes. Bourbon War, the runner up in the Xpressbet Fountain of Youth Stakes (G2) who did not earn enough qualifying points to run in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1), is under consideration for either the May 11 Peter Pan (G2) or the Preakness Stakes (G1) May 18.

The $200,000 Beaugay Stakes (G3T) for fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles on the turf has five probable starters in Andina Del Sur, European shipper Binti Al Nar, Chipolata, Competitionofideas, and Matty's Magnum. Homerique and Mitchell Road are among the possible starters.

Probable starters in the $200,000 Vagrancy Stakes (G3) include Dawn the Destroyer, Heavenhasmynikki, Holiday Disguise, Pacific Gale, and Separationofpowers. Yorkiepoo Princess is a possibility for the 6 1/2-furlong sprint stakes for older fillies and mares.
