Jan. 19 Racing Canceled at Laurel Park

The Monday, Jan. 19, live racing card at Laurel Park in Maryland has been canceled, but simulcasting from other tracks will continue. Live racing is scheduled to resume Friday, Jan. 23.
"After an unexpected freeze on Sunday, the freeze-thaw situation has made the racetrack uneven," Maryland Jockey Club general manager Sal Sinatra said "It is in the best interest of safety for horses and riders that this decision has been made."
