Registration Open for TOBA Breeding Clinic

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association is hosting a Breeding Clinic Saturday and Sunday, June 1-2 in Lexington, Ky. Registration is still open. The clinic will feature discussions and interactive workshops from various industry experts. Topics will include foal care, fertilization, broodmare and foal conformation, hoof care, planning a mating, mating development, stallion conformation, broodmare nutrition, parasite control and more. 

The clinic includes transportation to Darley to evaluate stallions and discuss planning a mating and Rood and Riddle and December Farm to discuss fertility and foal care, as well as prevention and treatments for infectious diseases.  

"The Breeding Clinic is an incredible two-day program designed for individuals who have experience within the breeding industry and those who are looking to further their education to take the next step," said Meredith Downey, director of marketing and education for TOBA. "We are grateful for the speakers and farms who support our mission to educate and provide resources to those who want to learn more about Thoroughbred breeding."
