Tacitus at Belmont Park
Juddmonte Farms' Tacitus has emerged as the favorite in the advance wagering on the $1.5 million Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets (G1).
The third-place finisher in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) was the 2-1 choice as of 7:30 p.m. ET June 7 with a total of $141,319 in the win pool.
Preakness Stakes (G1) winner War of Will was next at 4-1, and the other eight starters were bunched between 6-1 and 17-1.
Intrepid Heart, who was third in the Peter Pan Stakes (G3), was the 6-1 third choice.
After that came Bourbon War (8-1), Sir Winston (8-1), Tax (10-1), Japan's Master Fencer (JPN) (11-1), Spinoff (12-1), Preakness runner-up Everfast (13-1), and Joevia (17-1).
Post time for the 151st Belmont Stakes is scheduled for approximately 6:37 p.m. June 8 at Belmont Park.
