The 160th edition of the Queen’s Plate, the first jewel of the Canadian Triple Crown, will be held Saturday at Woodbine. Restricted to 3-year-olds bred in Canada, the 1 ¼-mile race on the all-weather Tapeta Footings surface is scheduled for 5:36 p.m. ET.
The Queen’s Plate is the oldest continuously run race in North America, dating back to 1860, and will be televised on TVG.
