More Than Ready Colt Stands Out at OBS Under Tack Show

The More Than Ready colt consigned as Hip 657 works during the under tack show for the OBS June Sale

A son of More Than Ready  breezed three-eighths in :32 3/5 June 8 during the fourth session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales June 2-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age Sale, posting the fastest work at the distance on the day.

Consigned by C&J Stable as Hip 657, the dark bay or brown colt is out of Passionate Diva, by Street Cry, a daughter of graded stakes winner Roshani.

A pair of youngsters worked quarters Saturday in :20 3/5, sharing the day's fastest time for the distance.

Hip 701, a dark bay or brown colt by Dialed In  consigned by Parrish Farms, agent, was the first to sprint the distance. He is out of Pure Refinement, by In Excess, a half sister to grade 1 winner Pure as Gold.

Next came Hip 706, consigned by Hawks Nest, a dark bay or brown colt by Race Day  out of Queen Brianna, by Unbridled's Song, a full sister to graded stakes winner Rockport Harbor.

Four horses shared honors for the session's fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :9 4/5.

Hip 653, a bay filly by Ghostzapper  consigned by de Meric Sales, agent, is out of graded stakes winner Palanka City, by Carson City, a full sister to graded stakes-placed stakes winner Quick Action.

Hip 780, Scoot the Moon, a dark bay or brown filly by Malibu Moon  consigned by Michael Caraman's Race Ready Sales, is out of stakes-placed Scooter Bird, by War Pass, a half sister to graded stakes-placed stakes winner Daring Reality.

Hip 795, El Guaya, a bay colt by Sky Mesa  consigned by Golden Rock Thoroughbreds, is a full brother to stakes-placed Rowdy Dylan out of stakes-placed Serious Vow, by Broken Vow .

Hip 859, Centaur's Image, a bay colt by Chitu  consigned by Vargas Sales, is out of St Ballado's Lady, by Pleasantly Perfect, from the family of graded stakes winner Halo's Image.

Four horses worked quarters in :20 4/5 Saturday.

Hip 712, consigned by All Dreams Equine, is a dark bay or brown filly by Successful Appeal out of Queen of the Pool, by Monarchos, from the family of graded stakes winner Freedom Crest.

Hip 719, a chestnut colt by Exclusive Quality consigned by Golden Noguez, is out of Rated Xtreme, by Magna Graduate , a full sister to graded stakes winner Blueeyesintherein.

Hip 724, a gray or roan filly by Conveyance  consigned by Ciaran Dunne's Wavertree Stables, is out of stakes-placed Rebecca's Surprise, by Marino Marini, from the family of graded stakes-placed stakes winner Monica Faye.

Hip 748, a bay filly by Into Mischief  consigned by Top Line Sales, is out of Rosemonde, by Indian Charlie, making her a full sister to grade 1 stakes-placed Rowayton.

Nine horses worked eighths in :10 flat: Hip 656 (by Dialed In), Hip 672 (by Graydar ), Hip 682 (by Competitive Edge ), Hip 725 (by Soldat ), Hip 758 (by Soldat), Hip 772 (by Tale of the Cat ), Hip 784 (by Palace ), Hip 809 (by Golden Lad ), and Hip 825 (by Race Day ). 

Results and videos of the under tack show are posted on the OBS website at obssales.com and can be viewed on kiosks in the breezeway and in the video room adjacent to the Horsemen's Lounge. The under tack show's final session begins at 7:30 a.m. June 9 with Hips 865—1059 scheduled to breeze.
