Catholic Boy trains at Belmont Park
Following a 4 1/2-length defeat to Preservationist in the July 6 Suburban Stakes (G2) at Belmont Park, Catholic Boy just hung on in the top 10 of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association's Top Thoroughbred Poll. Last year's Runhappy Travers Stakes (G1) and Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes (G1T) winner was voted No. 6 a week ago.
Vasilika (41 points) and Preservationist (35) are on the edge of the top 10.
