Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 332 entries for its New York Bred Yearlings Sale, scheduled for Sunday and Monday, Aug. 11-12 in the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

The Aug. 11 session will begin at 7 p.m. and the second session will begin at noon.

Statistics recently released by BloodHorse MarketWatch rank the New York Bred Yearlings Sale highly among all major North American yearling sales in several categories. The sale is currently among North America's top-ranked yearling sales by percentage of stakes winners sold, average earnings per starter, and percentage of winners sold with earnings of more than $150,000.

The sale also has jumped into the top rankings by percentage of graded stakes winners sold.

"We have five recent graded stakes winners featured on this year's catalog, including Diversify and Fourstar Crook, who captured last year's prestigious Whitney Stakes (G1) and Flower Bowl Stakes (G1T), respectively," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. "This sale, and the New York bred program in general, produces horses for racing's biggest stages."

Topped by a sale record-priced Pioneerof the Nile  colt sold for $600,000, last year's auction saw 172 yearlings sell for $18,492,000, an average price of $107,512, and a $76,000 median, all records for the sale.

The catalog may be viewed online and will also be available in the Equineline sales catalogue app. Print catalogs are also now available.
