Shortly after a Curlin  colt was sold by Denali Stud at The Saratoga Sale's second session, another son of the Hill 'n' Dale stallion was sold by the Bandoroff family's operation for $1 million. Robert LaPenta and Bridlewood Farm bought the colt consigned as Hip 159 in partnership.

The seven-figure colt is out of the stakes-placed Yes It's True mare Yes Liz from the family of multiple grade 2 winner and sire Chimes Band. The colt is consigned on behalf of breeder Stonestreet Bred & Raised.

"That has been a phenomenal cross," Bandoroff said of the colt's bloodlines.
