Jan. 24 Live Racing at Aqueduct Canceled

Due to winter weather conditions and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of jockeys and equine athletes, the New York Racing Association canceled live racing at Aqueduct Racetrack for Saturday, Jan. 24.
Aqueduct and the Belmont Cafe at Belmont Park were to remain open for simulcasting, with live racing scheduled to resume Jan. 25.
The NYRA release did not mention when, or if, the $125,000 Rego Park Stakes scheduled for Saturday would be rescheduled.
