While LNJ Foxwoods has a star sprinter in 3-year-old filly Covfefe, they also own Anonymity, who figures to be a key player in the Aug. 11 Rancho Bernardo Handicap (G3) going 6 1/2 furlongs at Del Mar.

Anonymity, a 5-year-old Tapit  mare bred by Dr. Kendall Hansen and a $600,000 Keeneland September yearling buy in 2015, was beaten by just a neck in third at 31-1 in last fall's Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1). In her lone outing this season she was second to the swift Marley's Freedom at Los Alamitos in the July 6 Great Lady M. Stakes (G2) at the same trip. She is conditioned by Hall of Famer Richard Mandella.

A year ago Anonymity was second in the Rancho Bernardo to Hronis Racing's Yuvetsi, who returns for a repeat bid. A 5-year-old from the first crop of Bodemeister , Yuvetsi will break from the rail under Ruben Fuentes and was third, beaten more than 20 lengths, in her lone start this year in Santa Anita's Desert Stormer Stakes (G3) back in May.

Good form and a good record at Del Mar might be the key to success for London, Lovingier, or Zondlo's Show It N Moe It, a Cal-bred 4-year-old filly who was fifth in the Great Lady M. and on the board in both the Desert Stormer and the April 7 Las Flores Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita. She sports a 1-2-2 career record over the Del Mar dirt track in seven tries. She gets a slight break in the weights at 118 here under Victor Espinoza. As a stalker type she should get her trip from post 2 in the nine-horse lineup.

Intrigue in the field comes from New Mexico-based trainer Todd Fincher and Kram, a 4-year-old Colonel John filly. She smoked a field of fillies and mares at Sun Ray Park June 1, getting seven furlongs in 1:22.79 and earning a triple-digit Equibase Speed Figure. Picking up Mike Smith as a rider and back-to-back bullet works makes her one to watch.

From Washington comes Todd and Shawn Hansen's Best of Me, a wire-to-wire winner of the 6 1/2-furlong Washington State Legislators Stakes June 23 in 1:6.04 at Emerald Downs. Rafael Bejarano rides the John D. Gunther-bred Super Saver  filly for trainer Phil D'Amato.
