Bricks and Mortar Solidifies No. 1 Standing in Poll

No rival has been able to topple Bricks and Mortar on the race track this season and after his latest triumph in the Arlington Million XXXVII Stakes (G1T) Aug. 10, the son of Giant's Causeway remains equally dominant when it comes to his reign atop the National Thoroughbred Racing Association Top Thoroughbred Poll.

Since ascending to the No. 1 position in the poll April 8, Bricks and Mortar has emerged as the leading Horse of the Year contender by adding top-level victories in the Old Forester Turf Classic (G1T), Manhattan Stakes (G1T), and Arlington Million to his prior wins this season in the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (G1T) and Muniz Memorial Handicap (G2T). 

The Top Thoroughbred Poll wraps up Nov. 4 after the running of the Breeders' Cup. This week's top 10:
