The Constitution colt consigned as Hip 342 ahead of the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Sale

A bay colt by first-crop sire Constitution  led the way early during the Aug. 11 opening session of the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Yearlings Sale, bringing a winning bid of $340,000 from trainer John Terranova for an undisclosed client.

Bred by Newtown Anner Stud and offered by Blake-Albina Thoroughbred Services as Hip 342, the colt was produced from the winning Arch mare Akris Queen. The colt's second dam, the stakes-winning Flying Paster mare Catnip, has produced multiple grade 3 winner Indescribable, grade 3 winner Micromanage , and British stakes winner Elaflaak. The female family includes European champion and sire Hold That Tiger and multiple grade 1 winner and sire Editor's Note.
